Streptocarpus is a beautiful, flowering indoor plant with a long bloom duration, easy care requirements, and a wide variety of options to choose from. Streptocarpus plants prefer bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, especially during the hot afternoon hours, as it can scorch the leaves. They can tolerate lower light levels but may not bloom as profusely. Keep the soil evenly moist but not waterlogged. Water thoroughly when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch. Ensure the pot has drainage holes to prevent water from stagnating at the roots.
