Madagascar Palm is a flowering succulent is very adaptable and can be grown in full sun to part shade or a bright spot indoors.

It has narrow, long, glossy leaves that grow in rosettes at the top of a spiny stem. The stem can grow up to 10 metres in height. It flowers in spring to early summer. The flowers are large, fragrant, white or creamy with yellow throats.

The Madagascar palm is slow growing and often takes several years to reach maturity. It thrives in arid, rocky environments, however it also does well in pots or containers and indoors in warm environments.

It is a low-maintenance plant, requiring well-drained soil and bright, indirect light, and watered sparingly.
