Monstera deliciosa, also known as the Swiss Cheese Plant, is a popular houseplant native to the tropical rainforests of Central and South America. It's renowned for its large, glossy leaves with characteristic splits and holes, giving it a distinctive and exotic appearance.

Monstera deliciosa thrives in bright, indirect light. It can tolerate lower light levels but will grow more slowly and may not develop as many leaf splits. Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil are dry. Keep the soil evenly moist but not waterlogged. Water less frequently during the winter months when the plant's growth slows down.
