Hoya Carnosa 'Tricolor', commonly known as the Crimson Queen, is a stunning evergreen vine famous for its variegated foliage featuring striking blends of green, creamy white, and vibrant pink. This popular indoor plant is highly sought after for its easy-care nature, beautiful waxy leaves, and clusters of sweet-scented, star-shaped flowers. It can also thrive in sheltered outdoor spaces in warmer, frost-free climates.

Prefers bright, indirect sunlight. Strong indirect light is crucial to maintain its vibrant pink and white variegation, though it should be protected from harsh afternoon sun. Water thoroughly only when the top 2 inches of soil have completely dried out. It is highly drought-tolerant, so it is always better to underwater than to overwater. Plant in a loose, well-draining soil mix (like a succulent or orchid blend) and ensure the pot has excellent drainage holes to avoid waterlogging and root rot.
