Chrysanthemum disbuds are grown to produce bold, oversized flowers by removing all but a single bud on each stem, allowing the plant to focus its energy into one striking bloom.

Plant in a free-draining mix and keep the soil consistently moist without letting it become soggy. Water once the top layer of soil begins to dry out. For best results, place chrysanthemums in a bright, sunny position where they can receive at least six hours of direct sunlight daily.

Regularly pinching back new growth every few weeks will help promote a fuller, bushier plant and increase flowering.
