Primula 'Queen' is a charming perennial that belongs to the Primula genus, commonly known as primroses.

This lovely plant typically features vibrant, colorful blooms that can include shades of pink, red, purple, or white. The flowers are usually held in clusters atop sturdy stems and have a striking, eye-catching appearance. The foliage consists of rosette-like, dark green leaves with a soft, fuzzy texture.

Usually blooming in early spring Primula Queen offers a burst of color when many other plants are just beginning to wake from winter dormancy. Depending on the weather conditions, blooming can extend into late spring.

Primula 'Queen' is a low-growing plant, typically reaching heights of 15 to 30 cm. It forms a neat, clumping habit with its foliage and flowers.

Prefers shade to partial shade, though it generally thrives in cooler, shaded areas. Needs well-drained, rich, and slightly acidic to neutral soil. Adding organic matter can improve soil conditions. Regular watering is essential, especially during dry spells, but avoid waterlogging. The soil should remain moist but not soggy.  These plants are well-suited to cooler climates and can tolerate light frost. They generally prefer temperatures ranging from 10-21°C.

Primula 'Queen' is often used in garden borders, containers, or as a ground cover. Its early bloom time makes it a valuable addition to spring gardens, providing a splash of color when other plants are just beginning to grow.

Primula 'Queen' is celebrated for its beautiful and varied blooms, making it a popular choice for adding a touch of elegance and color to garden spaces.
