Hoya cumingiana prefers bright, indirect light. However it can tolerate some direct sunlight, especially in the morning or late afternoon. Avoid harsh midday sun. Allow the soil to dry out between watering. Avoid waterlogging, as Hoya cumingiana is susceptible to root rot.
