Unlike the bigger, veggie garden varieties, ornamental peppers have been bred to for their looks rather than flavour.

Chili plants require plenty of sunlight to thrive and produce fruits. They should be placed in a sunny spot that receives at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight per day. Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water chili plants deeply when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch. Avoid overhead watering, as it can increase the risk of fungal diseases.
